Connecting Finance across borders
Sometimes the best opportunities come when you least expect them. For Ashley Cooper, a finance professional from Wisconsin, USA, it began with the discovery of a Finance Manager role at Fibertex Personal Care in Germany – a chance to work internationally while experiencing a new culture.
From her first conversations with colleagues in Germany and the USA, Ashley felt genuinely welcomed. “Everyone I spoke with showed such warmth and openness. It didn’t feel like a formal interview, but the start of something exciting,” she says.
Relocating to Germany was a big step, but Ashley quickly found support from her new team in Ilsenburg. Today, she works in Finance, connecting German and US operations, analysing performance and supporting decision-making.
“What I love most is collaborating across countries,” she explains. “I’ve already visited colleagues abroad, which has been a fantastic way to build relationships.”
Ashley is grateful for the journey and hopes her story inspires others to stay open to new possibilities.
