How a career can start with a student assistant job

Our student assistant Maja completed her studies this summer and, following a successful defense of her Master’s thesis, we celebrated her graduation with a Master’s degree in Law here at the office.

For us as a company, it has been both rewarding and educational – and a great help – to have a student like Maja as part of our corporate team over the past three years. We have benefited from her skills, up-to-date knowledge and fresh perspectives – and, last but not least, her laughter, her straight-to-the-point observations and her unmistakable way of saying good morning and goodbye.

We asked Maja what she got out of her time with us – and she explains:

“Being part of a global organisation like Fibertex Personal Care has been a valuable learning experience, both personally and professionally. I have been given challenges and responsibility, and my input has been sought across many different types of tasks.

Among other things, I have been involved in handling various contracts, including the development of a contract portal, and have shared responsibility for managing our intellectual property rights. These are tasks that have really allowed me to put my skills into practice and have given me valuable experience.

At the same time, I have really enjoyed being part of an environment with skilled and welcoming colleagues, where there has always been room for professional discussions, good conversations by the coffee machine and a smile during the working day.”

Once again, we have seen just how rewarding it is to support young talent on their career journey, and we wish Maja every success in her new job as a trainee solicitor – the job she was hoping for.
