applications

We add value
to products

Detailed designs in many colours, scents and functional features can be added in the printing process. Among others is the wetness indicator. We do this with our new backside technology without compromising subsequent processability.

Printing on nonwovens,
laminates and film

Nonwovens

Our technology performs well on various types of nonwovens, offering reliable ink adhesion, consistent design coverage and stable high-speed production for hygiene and medical applications.

Laminates

Our technology provides consistent, high-definition printing across multi-layer laminate structures, supporting complex designs, good registration and cost-efficient production.

Film

Our technology delivers high print quality on PE, PP, and PET films – with strong colour consistency, detailed print, and efficient long-run performance ideal for the hygiene segments.

Beyond printing

PrePress

Refining technical designs to improve print performance. Our artwork services ensure accurate visual results across challenging substrates.

Repro services prepare files for smooth production flow.

Laser Engraving

All laser engraving is done in-house for full process control, which enables consistent and efficient print output.

We produce high-quality sleeves with exceptional precision.

Proofing

Offering tailored proofing methods to match customer needs.

Each proof is assessed for visual and technical accuracy to ensure print expectations are met before production.

Sampling & Prototyping

Creating fast and cost-effective samples and prototypes.

This helps customer’s test designs before going to market – quickly and reliably.

Frequently
asked questions

Are the colours used in printing safe for skin contact?

Yes. Depending on the pigment grade, some prints are suitable for direct skin contact, while others are intended for use on the reverse side of the material.

Can ink adhesion be measured?

Yes, we use specialised laboratory equipment to quantify ink adhesion precisely.

Can narrow nonwoven rolls be printed on your wide-web Flexo lines?

Our Flexo line requires a minimum roll width of 900 mm.

Which printing technology do you use?

We use flexographic printing. This allows for high-speed production with consistent, high-quality results.

Which ink systems are compatible?

We use both solvent-based and water-based inks. Most of our customers prefer solvent-based systems.

Are the inks compliant with recognised certifications?

Yes. Our inks meet key certification standards, including OEKO-TEX® and Nordic Swan Ecolabel. We are also able to assist with additional certifications as needed.

Does printing affect the material’s properties?

No. Our quality system and equipment ensure that material properties remain unchanged during printing.

Is safety clearance often an issue?

We print according to customer requirements, including pigment selection. We also support the clearance process, including efficient disclosure procedures.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. With printing facilities in Germany and the United States, we have extensive experience in shipping worldwide.

Which materials can be printed?

We specialise in printing on a wide range of nonwovens, laminates and films.

Is functional printing available?

Yes. We offer various functional print options including hydrophilic zones, wetness indicators, odour control, and the addition of scents or oils such as vitamin E, avocado and arnica.

Can you print on both sides of the material?

Yes. One of our machines features a unit for reverse-side printing. It can print up to 8 colours on the front and 1 colour on the back.

What are the key capabilities of the printing machines?

We can print 1 to 8 colours (including backside printing), handle ingoing material up to 1700 mm wide, accommodate print repeats up to 1250 mm, slit to widths as narrow as 60 mm, and manage outer diameters up to 1300 mm with core sizes of 3”, 6”, and 6.75”.

Are print samples available?

Yes. We offer sample books and can provide customised samples quickly, and using the specific substrate required.
