Service Specialist
The Service Specialist will be responsible for the preparation of the upcoming production jobs relating to sleeves, aniloxes and machine parts, cleaning of the sleeves, aniloxes and machine parts, inspection, cleaning and care of the equipment in the Clean Room and assisting the production team with other cleaning and service tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and cleaning sleeves, aniloxes, ink buckets and machine parts.
- Ensuring there is no damage to sleeves and machine parts.
- Ensuring the required sleeves and aniloxes are available and prepared to run a job order.
- Perform a weekly inventory of sleeves, aniloxes, and other utensils and share the report with the Technical Print Manager.
- Store sleeves and aniloxes in the designated locations.
- Handling of expensive and heavy tools.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the clean room and production area.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Ability to work in a quality conscious manner and make decisions within the scope of competence.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in production environment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail is a prerequisite.
- Must be reliable with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be willing to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Availability to work in shift models (24/7 or 24/5).
- Willingness to work overtime.
