The Setup Specialist will be responsible for the preparation of the upcoming production jobs relating to sleeves, aniloxes and machine parts, cleaning of the sleeves, aniloxes and machine parts, inspection, cleaning and care of the equipment in the Clean Room and assisting the production team with other cleaning and service tasks.
Maintaining and cleaning sleeves, aniloxes, ink buckets and machine parts
Ensuring there is no damage to sleeves and machine parts.
Ensuring the required sleeves and aniloxes are available and prepared to run a job order.
Perform a weekly inventory of sleeves, aniloxes, and other utensils and share the report with the Production Manager.
Store sleeves and aniloxes in the designated locations.
Handling of expensive and heavy tools
Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the clean room and production area.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
Ability to work in a quality conscious manner and make decisions within the scope of competence.
While performing the duties, an employee is regularly required to talk or hear, walk or sit, stand, climb, lift, push, pull and use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, and to reach with hands or arms.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job; mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment, including hazardous materials and fumes/odors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and will comply with government regulations regarding hearing protection.
