Supply Chain Specialist

Fibertex Personal Care is one of the leading suppliers of high quality nonwovens and print on nonwovens fabric to the hygiene industry, mainly in Europe and Asia Pacific.

The position

To support and develop new supply chain tools to optimize the interaction between production planning, purchasing, inventory control, forecasting, warehousing and logistics, including regional setups to support the business.

Job responsibilities

• Support, develop and simplify the supply chain process internally and externally to ensure management of the physical flows of products, from the suppliers to the delivery to customer are well manage.
• Increase efficiency of Supply Chain processes through innovation. Stay informed of advances in supply chain technology and approaches, be our supply chain expect and apply within the organization to improve supply chain processes.
• Improving Customer relationship by enhancing Supply Chain activities in APAC. Understand customers’ needs, maintain and develop positive business relationships with customer’s key personnel who involved in supply chain activities.
• Perform analysis on customers demand fluctuation to identify the supply gap, work closely with Planner and Purchasing to close the supply gap.
• Monitor actual demand rate by customers against customers forecast, trigger Sales to rationalize sales forecast to avoid overstock of finished goods and raw materials.
• Optimize the stock level in Warehouse, Min/Max update and WMI.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management/Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Supply Chain in manufacturing environment. Experience in overseas supply chain management is an added advantage.
• A team player who can optimize the collaboration and flow of information between the supply chain and other departments to ensure operation excellent delivered to customer.
• Good personality, self-discipline and able to complete tasks with minimum supervision.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
